Vice President's Message
President Janet wasn’t available AGAIN to chair our meeting this week so it was back to me AGAIN.
Apart from president Janet, apologies came from Ian Sharman and David Brown.
Our guests included Nancye Irving (Nancye being Graham Ross’ sister) from Albuquerque and Elio Ross, Leanne Dart, Jezamin Oelfke and Joan Austin.
 
The evening was in two parts. The first was a visit to the Warrnambool Art Gallery to be guided through the Lisa Gorman and Mirka Mora exhibits. Our guide was Serena Wong the gallery’s Collections Curator.  Serena spoke at length about the exhibition and the life stories of Lisa and Mirka.
 
After the visit we moved to the Liebig Thai for dinner.  Apart from some meals taking a long time to come to the tables it was a great evening.
 
A big thank you to Anne who organised the Art Gallery visit and Kelly who organised and coordinated the meal at Liebig Thai.
 
ps.  The book sale set up is going well. The dates/times for the remaining “working bees” are 11:00am Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January.  We know not everyone can be available but if you have and hour to spare it’d help a lot.
 
BIG REMINDER: the book sale is on Friday 26 1:00pm-4:00pm, Saturday 27 10:00am-3:00pm & Sunday 28 11:00am-2:00pm.  If you can be available during any of these times can you let Anne know.
 
ALSO, A BIGGER REMINDER: we have to clear everything out and clean up The Club after the book sale.  We will probably do a quick tidy up on Sunday and have a few working bees through the following week to get things back in order.  More on this to follow later.

Lids for kids:
Please continue to bring along your washed milk bottle tops. Svet and her Girl guides are working with Lauren,  who came and spoke to us. You can give the lids to Svet or Judy. Bread tags are also still being collected.
 
Raffle Prizes:
This is also to remind you that I require your help to make the Raffle a success, as it has been in the past.  If you are able, could you please bring along to Rotary on Tuesday night, some food items to go in the food hampers I hope to put together, or some wine to go in the wine hamper. Please make sure items are within date.

Robbie will be collecting empty medicine packets from now on to be recycled.
