February 9 Meeting will be at Graeme and Margaret Ross' Place, 12 Hermitage Drive, Allansford - 6:00 pm for a 6:15 start
This meeting is primarily for a Sariri fundraiser. Tony is still in need of funds to help get the tractor and bits and pieces to Sariri and Graeme and Margaret have kindly offered their beautiful home for this occasion. Cost will still be $20 for members. Partners and friends are all welcome. Meat will be supplied and members are making salads and desserts. Drinks will be available for purchase (at mate's rates). Remember there will be a trading table and a raffle, so any donations will be well received.
Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) course confirmed - 4 February
Thursday 4th February at the Guide Hall, Manifold Street at 6:45 pm. If anyone else would like to do the course, come along with the $25 cost.
Would you all please put this in your diary and in the next week or so, please bring along $25 to pay to Judy. The total cost is $50 and the Club will pay the other $25 on your behalf.
Bulletin Roster
Remember to check the roster in the Bulletin each week as things are starting to slip with people not turning up for their roster. If you are rostered on for a duty and cannot make it, it is your responsibility to find someone else to do it for you.
Youth Exchange Fundraiser
The Youth Exchange Students are fundraising to provide horse riding for people with disabilities. Karla will be selling tickets for $5.00 which will entitle you to a German treat, a ticket into a draw for some German wine and another chance in the District Raffle for a weekend's accommodation in Melbourne. So save up your $5 for the next couple of weeks.
Rotary Make-ups
If you attend a Rotary function, i.e. BBQ, fundraiser event, or anything related to Rotary, this can be used as a make-up if you miss the regular weekly meeting. Just let whoever is doing attendance on the night you come back and they will make a note of it.

Rotary Lights Project - Monday 7 March at the Sherwood Park Campus at TAFE
Brian Trenery has lined up a few Rotarians to help the automotive students.
Rachel needs help with creating the poster to promote this event, so please let her or Brian know if you can help out.
Restoration Project of former Premier of Victoria's Grave
5 May is the centenary of his death. The restoration will begin next week in conjunction with the Historical Society and Family History groups. Brian is seeking a Rotary member to liaise with these two groups.
District Conference at Geelong from 18 to 21 March.

Ian Cairns hit the jackpot when his number was drawn out for the lucky last card. He picked up a handy $250.00 which was narrowly missed by John Harris last week who I am reliably informed, had his hand on the Ace but changed his mind and picked the other card. Well done Ian. 
Trevor, Louise, John and Svet for having birthdays; Anne for 24 years in Rotary; Alan for becoming a great grandfather; speedway enthusiasts; and of course the lucky numbers which covered all the "John's" and Jim.
