Joey
Joey has been a busy boy over the past week or so. Been to the Folkie and his highlight was The Borderers. Saw Bombshell at the movies, has been out to tea more than once, played tennis and been surfing twice.
Many thanks to Trevor and Leanne for hanging out with Joey for the past 3 months. Joey will head back to Steve and Louise for a bit before Safari and will then go on to Paul Forbes.
His highlight while at Trevor and Leanne’s was going camping. There was some mention of people’s cooking abilities in the Williams house-hold but if you weren’t at the meeting then you missed it. I recall ‘charcoal’ being used to describe something.
Judy
In addition to all the other great work being done for the PNG project, we will also be sending 50 Birthing kits to try to decrease the high mortality rate. Looking for donations of plastic sheets, gauze, soap (collect on your motel trips) gloves, blades, string. Also face washers and knitted woollen baby beanies. For more information see Judy, Mary or Tony.
Trevor
Ted King Park – Is under way. Trevor has pegged it all out and the builder is digging holes and we need to put together a working bee to concrete in the posts and rails. Council will deliver all the equipment on Friday 3rd April and if we have enough hands it will get finished on Sat 4th. Please let Delia/Trevor know if you are able to help and can maybe bring along a friend.
Robbie
