At Tuesday's meeting 33 Club members attended out of a possible 48 = 70.8%. Also attending was Honorary Rotarian John Reid and 13 guests who attended as special guests to thank for their contribution towards the success of the Annual Rotary Auction.
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Sergeant Andrea Sampson introduced President John Hunt who gave a warm welcome to Rotarians and special guests who were invited to this Rotary meeting to thank them for their generous contribution towards the success of the Annual Rotary Auction. The Warrnambool Rotary Club's Annual Dinner Auction is by far the Club's most significant fund raising activity and this year we raised just short of $24,000. Without the continued support of generous individuals and organisations, Rotary would not be able to do a fraction of what we do each year. President John also thanked Rotarian Marie Bennett, who is the Chairperson of the Annual Dinner Auction Organising Committee, as well as other members of the Committee. Marie introduced Rotarian Tony Austin who provided a detailed report on how the Club distributes funds raised by this major fund raising event, as well as other fund raising activities conducted throughout the year. Tony advised that this year we had the support of 209 individuals and organisations with the donation of goods and services, and to acknowledge their support Certificates of Appreciation were sent as well as an invitation to attend this meeting so we could personally express our thanks.

This Bulletin has been produced from a new version of Clubrunner which is very different from the previous version and has taken some considerable time to learn. At this stage the Bulletin looks good, however it may not look the same once it has been sent to you, so I have to admit to some trepidation in pressing the "send" button. Hopefully all will be well.
I have also been working on our Web page, so please take the time to have a look and any suggestions you have for improvement or addition of articles would be appreciated. Good news is that the last three Bulletins can now be accessed via the web site.
