David Brown Port Fairy Folk Festival Volunteers needed There has been great support from Members as in past years however we still need another 4 volunteers to fill 8 shifts . The vacant shifts are across the 3 days (Friday evening/Saturday afternoon & evening/Sunday evening/Monday morning.) Undertaking 2 shifts entitles the volunteer to a weekend festival pass valued at $365. The crowd management task is not onerous and essentially involves providing directions within the Tent. These students live remotely and need to complete intensive elements here at our south west tafe campus. This program has a MOU with our district and is being asked of all clubs within our area. We are missing several vests and I ask if you could please check and see if you may have one lurking in a dark corner somewhere, (at home, in the car, at work, in the shed???). Please continue to bring along your washed milk bottle tops. Svet and her Girl guides are working with Lauren, who came and spoke to us. You can give the lids to Svet or Judy. Bread tags are also still being collected. SMALL CHANGE JAR: Many thanks to you all for your continued support of our fund-raising to END POLIO NOW. Your generosity meant the jar got very heavy and increasingly hard to carry. The money was emptied out and has been stored safely!! It will be combined with any further donations prior to the usual "guessing" competition at the end of the year. |
