Euro-English
The E.C. (European Commission) has just announced an agreement, whereby English will be the official language of the E.U. (European Union), rather than German, which was the other possibility.
Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase in plan, that would be known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. Also, the hard "c" will be dropped in favour of the "k". This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20% shorter.
In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be ekspekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of the silent "e"s in the language is disgraseful, and they should go away.
By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
During ze fifz year, ze uneseary "o" kan de droped from vords containing "ou" and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters.
After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi to understand ech ozer.
ZE DREM VIL FINALI KUM TRU!
AND ZEN VE VIL TAK OVER ZE VORLD!

Platy-cam from the Glenelg Hopkins CMA
The world's only livestream of platypus in the wild is back online!
Platycam has had a little upgrade after delivering us the views of the Grangeburn almost non-stop for the last 2.5 years! We can't wait to see our resident platypus swimming around, along with the other regularly viewed animals on Platycam, like the big white goose (we still don't know where it came from!), the dozens of ducks cutting laps of the waterway at all hours, the occasional flipping fish, and the turtle who turns up after 1am every.single.day.

Head to platycam.com.au to check out the camera
Reminder about the Container Deposit Scheme raising money towards our Early loss memorial project.

If you are able to use the app, you will be able to find our cause under charities. If the app is being too difficult, you can use the barcode below. Simply scan the barcode at any of the return depots, then start inserting your bottles.

If technology is not your friend, feel free to drop bottles at Brooke and George's place which can be taken out to the depots (Kelp street).
