It was unfortunate our guest speaker Ann Barker was not well enough to attend, and we look forward to hearing from her in the near future. It seems to be a sign of the times. We however made excellent use of the time, with members (or most), taking the member survey very seriously. It will provide Janet with some useful info as her new board gets into action.
We were delighted to sing happy 95th birthday to Ron Bishop. What a great effort from such a loyal Rotarian. It was good to welcome Peter Smid as a guest. We had apologies from Janet Blackley, Kelly Curren. Tony Austin and Graeme Ward.
During the week we celebrated the start of our partnership with Warrnambool and District
Community Hospice, and we were represented at the tree planting on the banks of the Hopkins River at Deakin. Thank you to all members for your support during the year and best wishes to Janet and her board for the coming year.
Anne will be collecting Food share donations until the meeting of the 27th June. You can donate food items or cash directly to Anne at a meeting. Anne will let us know next meeting if there are specific items they are in need of.
