Anne's Message

It was a delight to welcome District Governor Kathy Rivett to our meeting. What a dynamo she is with her enthusiastic to our board and her many challenges to our membership during her after dinner speech. It was good to see Brain and Jenny Trenery home safely

We had apologies from Alan Bowes, Graeme Ward, David Brown, Glenn Brotchie, Brooke Jensen and George Mcleod.

We welcome and inducted to new members Ann and Andrew Body to our club. We look forward to new energy and new ideas.

Congratulations to Svetlana Lineham on the awarding of the Dr Cliff Dochterman Award from the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians. Thank you also to PDG Brain Trenery for the preparation and presentation of the award.

Well done Brooke and George for successfully mentoring Fina through the selection process for the NYSF and Airlee our last year's NYSF student as a student mentor next year.

Next week is the progressive dinner.

The message from DG Kathy is for us to have fun !!!

DG Kathy Rivett

On Tuesday night we welcomed DG Kathy Rivett. Kathy gave a fantastic presentation, and it is easy to see how much energy and enthusiasm she has for Rotary, in fact, it has rubbed off on us a little!

We look forward to the next visit!
Svetlana Lineham
Dr Cliff Dochterman Award

Last night, Svetlana was presented with a Dr Cliff Dochterman Award from the International
Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians. This recognition is given to those Rotarians who have
given exemplary service to both Rotary and Scouting/Guiding.

Svet has demonstrated these qualities with over seventeen years as a committed Rotarian
being involved in most all club activities and almost a lifetime of Guiding involvement, from
her childhood days into adult leadership roles at various levels.

It is with great pride and appreciation that the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians
through the Rotary Club of Warrnambool, awarded this recognition to an exemplary Rotary
and Guide Leader Svet, in the name of Dr. Cliff Dochterman.
Welcome to the Club!

On Tuesday night, with the help of DG Kathy Rivett, we welcomed Ann and Andrew Body to our club. It has been a pleasure to see them both every Tuesday night, and we look forward to learning more about both with a 'on the couch' session with John Hunt in the future.
Come along and spend your Saturday at the Wangoom Spring market day on the 22nd of October from 10-2.
There will be jewellery, plants, food (Devonshire tea) and much more.
Any donations are greatly appreciated.
