Tuesday night we had Sarah Wallace from the Wish Collective as our quest speaker. Sarah gave us an insight to her journey; after having 6 miscarriages and not having support she decided to do something about it and started a project making miscarriage kits. In these kits it has valuable information on where to seek help and also some self-care products. It is important to talk about it and thank you to Sarah for coming along and sharing your experience and hearing about all the great work you are doing and as a club certainly would love to be involved.
The long weekend is fast approaching, and the Second book sale is back on and if anyone is available to help out on the day, please get in touch with Debbie.
Members Announcements
- Brooke had some book sale flyers on tables and Debbie is asking if we can all handout to businesses and let all your friends and family know about our upcoming sale.
- Brooke has also booked in for first aid which will be on the 27nd of July and if anyone is interested, please see Brooke.
Thank you to Sarah Wallace, Jack, Maria and Gerri Russell for coming along to share a meal with us.
Apologies for the night: Glen Brotchie, John Hunt, Rachel Furnell, Graeme Ward, Trish Canty and Trevor Willliams.
Next week Peter Smid has organised a planning night.
Have a great week
Take care
Kelly Curran

If you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for 6 months.
I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you are supposed to eat yourself stupid.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake up to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs.
I could definitely deal with that.
If you're mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
YUP!.... I WANNA BE A BEAR!
Walking Group on again! 9am meeting at the Pavilion. Social coffee at the cafe post walk
Reminder!
Our profile is now back up on the CDS app. This is one of the easiest ways to earn money for our projects. Every meeting there will be a red bucket next to the fellowship board which you can put your containers in, or deposit them yourselves! If you want to learn how to set the app up, or would like a laminated barcode for easier use, please ask!
How much do you think this large bundle came to?
congratulations to Rotary Warrnambool Central and their successful collection during the may races. They have now collected more than $14,000 in containers!
Reports for the Changeover Annual Report
Rotarians I have been tasked with getting reports together for our Changeover annual
report. The Changeover being 24 June.
The following is a list of office bearer’s, service areas, activities and the people who
“champion” them.
There may be others that I have missed. If so please let me know.
If you are an office bearer, or “responsible” for a project, fund raiser or activity can you
provide an overview suitable to be included in the annual report please.
To facilitate the compilation of the report easier and for consistency of appearance
please use the Arial Font at font size 11 point and do not include any complex formatting.
Where appropriate please provide one or a small number of images in .jpg format.
These will greatly enhance the appearance of your report.
To have the report ready for the Changeover I need everything finalised, at the latest, 6
June (approximately 2 weeks prior). I will also send reminders prior to that.
