Working together with the Portland Parkrun, the Rotary club of Portland are raising awareness to End Polio Now.
Our community is encouraged to walk, jog or run the 2.5km lap of the Fawthrope lagoon and perhaps start a new hobby?
Come along and have some fun - while building up your step count.
Our ambassador for Polio is Dawn Baudinette - a polio survivor as an 18 month old child - spending 6 years in an iron lung.
Dawn will be present to answer any questions.
Wear red to support the Polio cause - we are "this" close!
