Meeting 2867 was a much quieter affair than the week before, and I was a bit disappointed to have no pre-bookings made for Frank's next presentation. It was however a great social evening with lots of conversation up and down the table.
Thanks to the team for getting everything organised for this Sunday's breakfast it went really well, and I believe we sent them all away satisfied and it was a great little fundraiser for the club to boot.
Bookings have been made for the Adeliade University Lecture, look forward to seeing you all there.

Meeting 2868 will be a social meeting at the Bob & Gayle Cowan Auditorium for Adelaide Uni's first Mount Gambier Public Lecture. The topic is the Changing Brain: Moving After Stroke presented by Associate Professor in Neuroscience and Rehabilitation, Brenton Hordacre. Meet for a 6:30 pm start at the University Campus.
For March we welcome our new Sergeants, Brian and Barry... I wonder if we will see a return to fines as a revenue raising initiative under Brian's watch? We will have to wait and see.

Beyond Bitumen Breakfast Hosted
It was an early start for some of our members today as we cooked breakfast for 64 hungry Beyond Bitumen supporters. They reached out via Facebook and we were happy to come along and support their rally.
This is the Rally's second year in Victoria, which sees the group travel from Geelong to Warrnambool, across the border to Mount Gambier and back to Colac for an epic long weekend of mates, memories, and meaningful conversations about Mental Health.
The group also raise much needed funds in support of Beyond Blue with the team raising over $64,700 for this rally event.
Famous for appearing in a film starring Meryl Streep, the tall ship was spotted today off the coast of Port MacDonnell and reported via Limestone Coast Community News' Facebook.
The ship is owned by Sydney Harbour Tall Ships and is on its way to Port Victoria on the Yorke Peninsula to celebrate the town's 150th anniversary. It's scheduled to return to Portland on March 15th - so keep a lookout off the coast in the days prior!
