Hi Team,

I would like to start by wishing all the Dads and Grandads of all shapes and sizes a very Happy Father's Day 2025! Hopefully you were able to celebrate with your loved ones and remember those no longer with us but forever in our hearts and memories.

Thanks to Greg for covering for me last week whilst I was unwell, this week please join me back at Mac's for fellowship.

Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3^rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

The City of Mount Gambier wants to make our city welcoming and accessible for everyone. This means making it easier for people with disability to take part in community life, feel respected, and have the same opportunities as others.

They are currently seeking suggestions for inclusion in their 2025-2029 Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. Click the link Give Feedback link below if you would like to take part.

UniSA - Royal Flying Doctor Service

This presentation will look at the introduction of telehealth services in rural areas as a means of overcoming barriers to healthcare.

Dr Gladman graduated from Flinders University. Since graduation, he worked in Tamworth and Broken Hill. In Broken Hill, he worked with the RFDS and the local hospital.

Prior to studying medicine, Dr Gladman worked in research and spent time in the Army.

He is a Senior Lecturer with Adelaide University Rural Clinic School and a committee member with the Australian Medical Council. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner and accredited with Australian Motorsport.

The local RFDS group have been asked to run a donation stand on the night. Please bring some loose change for a worthy cause.
