 Hi Team,

Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting at Macs on Tuesday. It was a pleasure to be back on deck... in the wonderful winter weather after two sunny weeks in the Pacific. Sadly, Mr Chris Lang, from Mount Gambier City Council was unable to join us as planned and has been rescheduled for next month.

I will once again be absent this Tuesday due to picking up Influenza A from my adorable disease Trojan Horse Miss Mackenzie. I would like to thank Greg, Ray and the Committee for keeping everything running smoothly during my absences.  Special mention goes to our recent presenters, Mr Long and Mr Golding.

I attended the International Overdose Awareness Day on Wednesday and gave a short speech highlighting Rotary's work in this area. Big thanks to Ray for making some superb pumpkin soup and to David for assisting on the night and suppling cups, rolls and cream, the soup was a very popular addition to the evening given the cold weather, Thanks also to Brian and Nevelle for coming along it was good to have some Rotary representation there.

Finally, I would like to officially announce the $2,746.00 ex GST received as part of the 2024/2025 Volunteer Grants.  We will be using the funds for a portable public announcement system for use at events. It has been much anticipated and will be very useful going forward.
