All jobs for Party in the Park have been filled. Brian is registering the float, Council is cleaning the float, Sam will drive it on the day with Four Reasons Why following. Michael will confirm parking for the day, and Judith will attend the drivers briefing.
The Pizza Van was assessed on Friday, hopefully Neville has some good news to share at our next meeting. Otherwise we will need extra assistance to manage pizza service. If you want to volunteer on the day to assist, please let Neville know.
Judith thanked the Club and members for donations towards her RFDS Fundraiser. Judith walked 161km and raised $1,628, well done Judith.
David, Frank & Neil are confirmed to cook the BBQ Saturday morning to thank the team at O'Briens Electrical for their work at the storage shed.
The Rawdon Mitchell Challenge was decided as Mini Golf. Michael Hillstone will contact the Blue Lake Golf Club for pricing and available dates.
Ray suggested a potential project of starting a dementia choir. If you can assist with coordination, please contact Ray or Neil.

ACHIEVE Project:
The lecture will introduce the ACHIEVE Project, a community approach focused on creating safe, inclusive spaces for education around deeply human conversations.
These conversations focus on challenging topics including cancer, dementia, fertility, grief, loss, and end-of-life care. By engaging with lived experiences, current student and professional insights, the project aims to better equip future healthcare professionals to navigate these complex topics with empathy, compassion, and holistic, person-centred care.

O'Briens Team.
A huge thank you to O'Brien Electrical Mt Gambier who stopped by on 8 November to volunteer at the Four Reason Why and Rotary Mount Gambier West Shed. We definitely needed the help to get organised.
18 members from the O'Brien Electrical Team came to help out. This included emptying out and cleaning the shed, to installing new shelving and lights and the very generous donation of a power bank to run the shed off grid.
Their generosity has enabled the safety of our volunteers and the storage of all things Rotary and Four Reason's Why.

Crafting inspires change for national recycling week
To mark National Recycling Week, the community is encouraged to declutter and donate unwanted crafting materials to the Mount Gambier Library. All donations will be sorted and redistributed to local kindergartens, age care homes, or repurposed by Twisted Threads for community projects.
There will also be a ‘Stitch and Fix’ event
to teach interested people to learn simple, practical mending skills.
MATES In Construction SA and Country SA PHN have partnered together to offer free suicide prevention training within the Mount Gambier and Limestone Coast, South Australia.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid that teaches you how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Anyone over 18 years is eligible to register for this training session and no prerequisites are required.
