Did you see our FAKE NEWS article last week? We might have jumped the gun and nominated Meeting 2868 as the Adelaide University talk. I guess I have had too many months to think about the possibility of fresh egg sandwiches and missed the mix up.

We did however have the opportunity to hear from Past President John & Skye McKenny from the Rotary Club of Yamba District 9640 NSW where the population fluctuates between 7 -17,000 dependent on the tourist seasons. The club itself currently has 9 members with two new younger members considering joining up. The club's key initiatives are the Say no to Domestic Violence Annual Walk, provision of community bus seating and catering using an ex-ambulance 🚑 converted to BBQ van. It was great to have John and Skye along to share their Rotary journey with us.

Until next time...
