Brain Hub Events This Week!

This week, Dementia Australia’s Brain Hub is hosting three free workshops open to all. Whether you are living with dementia, supporting someone who is, a healthcare professional or just want to deepen your understanding.

June: Fellowship Month
Steve Heiser from District 6690 has penned an article on a new model to recognise his belief 'I think the greatest gift a Rotary member can give to their club is to sponsor a new member'.

Recognising a new Paul Harris Fellow, sparked the idea of recognising people who sponsor new members. So they piloted the James Davidson Circle:
  1. Member: if you sponsor one new member in the Rotary Year
  2. Sapphire member: if you sponsor 2-4 members in a Rotary Year.
  3. Gold member: if you sponsor 5 or more new members in a Rotary Year.
  4. Platinum: if a member that you sponsored remains in Rotary for three years.
Together, let us Grow Rotary.
Support SA Farmers
South Australia's mid-North is in the grip of a devastating drought, and farming families are doing it tough.
Grain crops in 2024 have been estimated to be 93% below average yield.
Beyond the shortage of livestock feed, the drought has brought heartbreaking hardship to farming families who watch their animals deteriorate while often going without themselves, with mental health impacts felt right across the region.
This Rotary project, in partnership with the Farmers Relief Agency, is raising funds to purchase bales of hay from interstate growers and transport them directly to impacted families.
The South Australian Government's Department of Primary Industries and Regions has committed to covering freight costs to the affected region.
Your donation helps keep livestock alive and farming families on their land.

Zone 8 Conference - Melbourne

The Rotary South Pacific Regional Conference is the premier gathering of Rotary leaders, changemakers, and members across our region. It’s where vision meets action—where we explore the future of Rotary through the lens of People, Planet, and Peace, and connect with causes that reflect our shared values and areas of focus.

This is more than a conference—it’s a regional movement. A chance to build momentum, strengthen partnerships, and shape Rotary’s impact in the years ahead.
