results of the 2013 Rotary Bowelscan program

For the Rotary Club of Horsham East component of the program we sold 515 kits, down 4% on the 539 kits sold in 2012, 395 of these kits were returned to us and sent for testing, up 24% on the 319 kits sent for testing in 2012, and 3 kits returned a positive test down three on the 2012 figure. (The three positive tests for our area for 2013 were all males aged 67,74 and 87. I have no other details).

The youngest person to record a positive test was 33 years old and the eldest person to record a positive test was 100 years old.
So again the Rotary Bowelscan program has alerted over 300 people to a potentially serious health problem and advised them of the need to seek, hopefully, lifesaving medical attention.
