Rotarians and guests were delighted with the presentation from Deakin University medical student Char Fonseka at the May 28 meeting.  Char spoke of her initial reluctance to join the IMER  program (Integrative Medicine Education & Research), and her preference to be placed in Ballarat.  Since coming to Colac she has found the medical professionals keen to share their knowledge and experience with students in contrast with the experience of medical students in other placements.
