Christmas Break-Up Dinner Was Held 6th December

Our Rotary Christmas Function was held on 6 December at the Farmers Arms Hotel and was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. It was wonderful to come together with members of the Colac Rotary Club to celebrate the festive season. The meal was super yummy and well enjoyed by all. There were a few giggles to be had around the Bad Santa gift exchange. All in all, it was a great way to round out the year together.

All nominations for office were accepted at the Christmas Function. As there was only one nomination received for each position, a simple show of hands was all that was required and all nominated positions were duly carried. The only position not filled at this time is President Elect. If you would like to put your hand up for this role, please let Lyn know.

The Last Dinner Meeting for the Year

The final meeting for the 2025 year was held on 9 December, with Lucy Richardson from the CFA joining us as our guest speaker. Lucy spoke about fire safety and prevention, sharing valuable information with members. She also advised that anyone wishing to have their smoke alarms serviced or assessed can take advantage of a free service offered by the CFA. If you are interested, please let Toni know and she will arrange contact with Lucy on your behalf.
