PRESIDENT’S  REPORT :A much bigger night than expected. I think we had nine extra people that didn’t RSVP but the kitchen was able to handle that.

The unfortunate news that our BBQs venue for January, i.e. Don Eather’s house, has now grown a tree in the back of it, so we will have to relocate our BBQs in January. It looks like there is a possibility of Richard Chaffey’s place, but will let you know through the bulletin what is happening in January.

General Business

·    The Regional Fire Fighting Championships are on in Tamworth on March 7-8. They are wanting us to cook breakfast for 120 people on the Sunday, there will be more information as it comes forward.

·    The AGM went off well, but we are still looking for a Club Admin and an incoming President for next year.

·    Following the AGM, we watched two short child protection videos to keep the District happy and a message from our current DG which we haven’t met in person as yet.

·    James Hindmarsh gave another small explanation of what is going on with Club Runner up and running.

Jim Booth was our Sergeant tonight and seem to fine everybody questionably but thoroughly.

Heads and tails this week was won by James Hindmarsh and Ross Constable.

Please remember next week is the Christmas Party 6.30- 7.00pm at the Family Hotel also remember to RSVP the numbers for catering purposes.

Cheers Scott
