William Allan

William K. Allan was president of the Derby-Shelton Rotary in 1988-1989. Born in Portsmouth, NH on April 14, 1939, Bill graduated with a chemistry degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1963. As a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill served his country as a B-52 pilot, after which he had a long career in sales with IBM and as a realtor and small business owner. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he was a volunteer with his church and local men’s missions. His love of hiking and the Appalachian trail included leading Rotarians on a couple of fun loving weekends. Bill passed away on February 9, 2017.
