Theodore Knect

Theodore Parker Knecht was Vice President and Comptroller of The A.H. Nilson Machine Company  located at the corner of Bridgeport Avenue and Long Hill Crossroads in Shelton.  He presided as  President of the Derby‐Shelton Rotary Club for year 1965‐1966.  He was born August 18, 1920 in  Bridgeport, the son of Richard and Anna Chatlos Knecht.    

He was married to Claire Maurene Hill.  The family relocated from Bridgeport to Trumbull when Ted was a youngster and there he grew up and  spent most of his adult life until his retirement to Jupiter, Florida in Palm Beach County where he passed  away on January 23, 2003 at the age of 82.
