Theo Horesco

Theo Horesco was president of the Club during the 1981-1982 Rotary year. He was one of the founding members of the very successful Rotary auction and a strong advocate for increasing the number of scholarships made available through the funds raised by the auction. He also maintained perfect attendance for 20 years. He was a business education teacher in the Shelton School system and a successful coach in the boys basketball program. He lived in Beacon Falls where he was a member of the CT Region 16 Board of Education. 

After retirement from teaching, he and his family moved to New York state and he went on to hold the distinction of becoming president of a second Rotary Club – the Northville, NY Club #4935. He also served as the Assistant Governor for NY Rotary District #7190 in 2009-2010. He also served on the Planning Board in the city of Northville. While spending winters in Melbourne Beach, Florida, he serves on the Board of Directors for the A1A Condo Park.
