Robert Steinman

Robert Steinman was Vice President of Saul H. Steinman Company, Inc., a men’s clothing store established by his father at 422 Howe Avenue in Shelton. He served as Club President for Rotary Year 1968-1969. He was born in Shelton on May 5, 1928, son of Saul H. and Rebecca Gulbitch Steinman. Robert was married to Jacqueline Dynes and served in the US Army in 1946-1947. He was President of the Shelton Retail Merchants Association in 1961. He passed away in New Haven on January 28, 1972 at the early age of 43.
