Kim Ryan Caro

Kim Ryan Caro served as the Derby Shelton Rotary club president during the 23/24 year. She joined the club in 2007 and has been an active member ever since. She has served on the board of directors from 2010 and is still on the board to this present day as the community service chair. Kim was raised in Fairfield Connecticut, graduated from Andrew Ward high school and received a business degree from Sacred Heart University. 

She volunteered at the Make-A-Wish foundation which was located in Trumbull, Connecticut for many years before joining Rotary. Kim recently retired after 44 years working at her family business Curtiss Ryan Honda in Shelton Connecticut. She learned so much during that time walking in her father’s footsteps. Both of her parents were great mentors to her with their own volunteer work. After many fundraisers during Kim’s presidency, the club was able to donate grants to 14 local organizations. 

Her president’s project donation went to the Shriners hospital for children and to the Connecticut burn foundation, A camp for children with life altering burns. Kim is married to Ron. They love vacationing together and spending time with their family and friends. Their greatest joy in life are their children and grandchildren.
