Dr. Bernard Shields

Dr. Bernard Aron Shields, DDS, a long‐time dentist in Derby presided as President of the Derby‐Shelton  Rotary during Rotary year 1937‐1938.  His office was located at 17 Elizabeth Street in Derby.  

He was  born June 28, 1898 in Derby, the son of Morris A. and Hannah Morse Shields.  He was married to Mary  Kathryn Flaherty of Bridgeport.  Dr. Shields died September 2, 1985 in Derby at the age of 87.
