Shelton Day 2026
Sunday, October 4, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Veterans Memorial Park • Riverwalk • Shelton, Connecticut
Join Us for Shelton's Largest Community Celebration!
For decades, Shelton Day was held along Howe Avenue in downtown Shelton, where it became a cherished community tradition celebrating the people, businesses, and organizations that make Shelton such a special place to live and work. As downtown redevelopment continued and public safety requirements evolved, the event was relocated to Veterans Memorial Park. This beautiful waterfront setting provides a safer environment, improved emergency access, additional space for vendors and attendees, and has become the permanent home of Shelton Day.
Today, thousands of residents and visitors gather each year along the scenic Housatonic River for one of Shelton's premier annual festivals. Proudly presented by the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club, Shelton Day brings together local businesses, nonprofit organizations, artisans, food vendors, entertainers, and community for a fun-filled day that celebrates the spirit of Shelton while supporting local charitable programs and community initiatives.
The festival features:
- Over 200 vendors and exhibitors
- Delicious food trucks and local food vendors
- Live entertainment throughout the day
- Family activities and children's attractions
- Community organizations and nonprofit groups
- Local businesses and artisans
- Handmade crafts and specialty products
- Interactive exhibits, demonstrations, games, and much more!
Whether you're shopping, enjoying great food, discovering local organizations, or spending the day with family and friends, Shelton Day truly offers something for everyone.
Proudly Presented by the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club
Shelton Day is made possible through the support of our generous sponsors, the City of Shelton, Shelton Police Department, Shelton Fire Department, Public Works Department, Parks & Recreation Department, EMS, volunteers, and the many community partners who help make this event safe, welcoming, and successful.
