Sewing Graduates Start Tailoring Businesses, Svay Rieng Cambodia

The graduates of the sewing program at the Rotary Sewing Center have successfully started their home tailoring businesses. Thank you to everyone who helped to support this program and make this opportunity possible!
The Women's Sewing Program in the province of Svay Rieng Cambodia has had a very successful beginning. Following their "graduation" and receiving their sewing machines, the women have started their home tailoring businesses. The women have the skills to design and make traditional western and Khmer clothing and but doing so are providing income and opportunities for their families. The next class of women will be selected and begin their classes in late June or early July.
