One of the true honours of being a Rotarian is to induct new members into our club.  Tonight we had the privilege of inducting to new members, Jennifer Guertin and Steve McCullough.

Jennifer Guertin was introduced by Past President Ruth.  Jennifer grew up in Toronto where she attended univeristy and graduated with a degree in Sociology.  She has a 28 year old son.  She is very involved in hospice and recently was instrumental in the organization of “Christmas in the Village” in Lakefield.  Jennifer upholds the ideals of Rotary and the 4 Way Test, the cornerstone of our organization. RI Director Bryn presented Jennifer with her Rotary pin, the emblem of our organization.

Steve McCullough was introduced by Rotarian Dave.  Steve also grew up in Toronto before moving to Peterborough.  He worked for Prudential selling insurance before attending Sir Sanford in the nursing program.  He also had a Foot Care business.  Steve has been involved in the community, the Peterborough Hoticultural Society, chess club and coin club and has already been an active part of our club.  He ismarried to Debbie and has 2 sons and 2 daughters.  Steve upholds the ideals of Rotary and the 4 Way Test, the cornerstone of our organization. RI Director Bryn presented Steve with his Rotary pin, the emblem of our organization.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Steve.  We are proud to have to become part of the BEL Rotary family and look forward to working with you both in service above self.
