On Monday evening, BEL Rotary celebrated 44 years of service to the local and international communities.

The impact of the club is seen across our community from the BEL Rotary Bridgenorth Trail, to Rotary Park, to the eco shed at Chemong School and the OPP community office in Bridgenorth. Over the years projects have included support for Chemong Community Care, playground equipment for local schools and most recently the Adopt a Family Christmas project. On the international scene the club continues to support and run the Rotary School of  Cambodia and make significant contributions to polio eradication. Past Governor Tom Bennett spoke addressed the club and reminded members how they got the nickname “the little club on steroids”. “Through your incredible service locally and around that world, you make an impact on the lives of those you will never meet”. Congratulations!
