The Rotary Club of Bracebridge will be sponsoring the Spinning Reels movie April 8th at the Norwood Movie Theatre in Bracebridge. Please buy your tickets in advance so that you will not be disappointed. Information on where to purchase your tickets can be found on the Spinning Reels website. http://www.spinningreels.ca/

We also plan to have a booth set up outside the theatre where you can get information about Rotary’s efforts to eradicate Polio.

All of us can remember while we were growing up seeing family members, schoolmates or neighbours with splints and crutches to help them walk because Polio had struck them. Many more were confined to wheelchairs or bed. Those in our community under 30 years of age have little knowledge of this dreadful disease. Thank goodness for that. Sadly, the rest of us do remember what Polio can do to a young body. As the slogan says we’re “This Close” to eradicating Polio from the world. We need your help to make that happen.

You can see what Rotary and other well known organization are doing to in the fight against polio at these websites. Please take the time to view them.
