Honouring Ryan's Story
In June, John and Jennifer Hedican told of us their plan to reach as many students as possible on Vancouver Island to tell “Ryan’s Story”. John left his job to devote his time to this quest. Touching the hearts of Cumberland Rotarians we donated $1,000 from our “Heart Fund” to help with his transportation costs. Presenting the cheque is our Community Services Director Linda Oprica. Our Club has also written a letter to our government representatives in support of the Hedican’s mission.
