It could not have been a more perfect afternoon/evening for the golf “9 & Dine” get together. Blue skies, not to hot and a beautiful evening stroll along manicured lawns.

 

Dave S had efficiently sorted us into teams of four (which was not too much disrupted by the few no-shows - S at.A, contact me to make them pay big!!!!)

 

Equipped with a dinner receipt and two golf balls, I went outside to find club members, and guests waiting to tee off. From experts to others who had never golfed before (putt putt on the beach is my experience) we were all assigned to our foursome.  In the interest of fairness, Dave balanced the teams, so that each group consisted of experienced golfers to would be golfers!

 

After all this exercise (which included scrambling in the rough looking for lost balls)  we unwound with a glass in our hand and a good dinner. This was accompanied by much humour and prize giving.
