Taylor Sorrells is the President & Founder of Read With Me MN. Taylor is an early childhood educator with experience teaching in Chicago Public Schools and Minneapolis/St. Paul Charter schools. Taylor received her Masters in Literacy Education in 2023, where she wrote her thesis on the impact of culturally relevant texts on student engagement and literacy acquisition. Currently teaching refugee multilingual learners in St. Paul, Taylor’s mission of representation in literacy and supporting local bipoc authors and illustrators is her life’s work and passion.
