Health Equity and the Pandemic

Besides practicing Otolaryngology at the University and Health Partners, David Hamlar has been working for racial equity in healthcare to include education and access to health care. This includes advocacy in the public and government spaces.

Healthcare disparities have been documented in the Twin Cities and across the nation. The pandemic has exacerbated that fact. It is up to us to make sure that under-represented communities are not left behind. This presentation will cover those shortfalls in care and explore what each of us and as organizations can do to help.
