Welcome

 

Rotary Peace Fellowships are fully-funded scholarships for students to receive masters’ degrees in peace and conflict resolution at one of Rotary’s five global Peace Centers: Duke University in the US; University of Bradford, UK; University of Queensland, Australia; University of Uppsala, Sweden, and Tokyo Christian University, Japan. Only 50 of these fellowships are given out each year in total, all around the world, to candidates nominated from more than 500 Rotary districts.

 

This scholarship program is similar to Fulbright and Rhodes scholarships. Peace Fellows go on to careers at the UN, other international human rights organizations, government leadership positions, and diplomatic careers.

 

Our District 5950 has had more successful Peace Fellow candidates in recent years than any other single district and Minneapolis University Rotary Club has had more Peace Fellows than any other single club. Our students have also studied at all of the Peace Centers.
