Minneapolis University Rotary Club gives awards every year to outstanding community members and to an outstanding member of our own club.  These awards recognize people who have demonstrated a truly significant commitment to ‘service above self.’ 

 

Our 2016-2017 Rotarian of the Year was given to Lawrence Jacobs, Ph.D., Walter F. Mondale Chair for Political Studies at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
