Our guest speaker today was Marc Ducharme, Glacier National Parks Lodges General Manager, Xanterra. He was introduced by longtime member John Constenius. One of John’s sons, Logan, joined us as well. Marc described the many aspect of improving and managing the lodges in Glacier National Park since Xanterra was awarded the contract by the federal government. He outlined the number of permanent and seasonal employees (seniors and let’s just call them ski enthusiasts) as well as foreign university students.
