The November 1st social was held at Bunker's restaurant hosted by Gayle Siemers.   He had invited the 2 exchange students at the high school and their host families to a pie social. 35 were in attendance to enjoy the lemon merangine, custard, banana cream pies & tarts.  There was some broccoli for those who didn't care for the sweets.  The students gave short talks and slides were shown from our student Ianna in Brazil.

 

November 8th's regular meeting had 20 in attendance.  The record $2 billion Powerball affected our raffle-a record low of $5.  

 

Gypsy Ray was the program speaker.  She was president of the club in 2017-18 before moving to Georgetown Lake where she works as a trauma mental health therapist in Anaconda and Philipsburg.  She  decided to write a book on her 50th birthday and spoke of the what she learned about how-to and how-not-to while writing "Memoirs of a Hippie Kid".  It is sort of an auto-biography of adverse child experiences and how to persevere.  Available on Amazon.
