The event was held on August 13 under the new Brewfest format on main street in front of the Elks in conjunction with the Car Show and the Sandpiper Art show. The beneficiaries were Youth Wrestling was awarded $6,500 for new and replacement signets for its expanding program, now with 110 participants including females, Mission Valley Aquatics was awarded $ 5,000 for the important 2nd & 3rd grade swim program with 200 participants (Greater Polson Community Foundation is also likely donating $ 7,250), The Polson Cheer team was budgeted for $ 2,500 for new and replacement uniforms for its 19 members, up from 10 and Youth baseball $ 2,500 for its equipment needs-their participants are up 40ish to approximately 200.

 

All the beneficiaries were able to increase their proceeds by 30% to 60% through raffle ticket sales by their own participants.

 

1,503 raffle tickets were sold  overall for the 5 prizes all valued at $ 1,000 value.

 

The Brewfest format was very popular and was smoothly run by the 20 or so Rotary members who helped.
