Congratulations to Elaine Gagliardi for becoming the interim Dean of the Law School at the University of Montana.

 

Elaine Gagliardi has been named interim law school dean at UM. Gagliardi has served on the UM faculty since 2001. She is a respected teacher and scholar in the area of estate and business planning. Gagliardi has served in a range of administrative capacities, including associate dean of academic affairs from 2007 to 2010, interim clinic director from 2010 to 2011, and associate dean of students from 2015 to 2017. Gagliardi is the 2017 recipient of the George M. Dennison Presidential Faculty Award. Elected by her peers practicing in the respective fields of law, she is an Academic Fellow of both the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the American College of Tax Counsel.
