Several non-profit and other service centered organizations and individuals in the community participate in Rotary’s grant recipient program.  This is one of many Bonners Ferry Rotary programs undertaken each year. Money for these grants comes from the club's fundraisers including the Kootenai River Ride, the community breakfast & silent auction, the sale of raffle calendars and the WaCanId Bike Ride.

During this year beginning on July 1, 2012, the BF Rotary Club has awarded financial grants to these local non-profit or service-centered organizations:

BF Rotary together with other Rotary clubs in North Idaho donated $1,000 for a grant for heart equipment for kids in India.

All requests for funding must complete the form "Request for Service Funding" and present it to the Board for consideration and approval. Upon approval, representatives are invited to a Tuesday noon membership meeting at Mugsy’s to describe their organization's mission and provide a brief description of how the money will be used during the next year. They are also presented with their funding at that time. The form is located on our website HERE.
