ImageAs we state on our website, non-profit organizations in our community participate in Rotary's Community Grant Program.  Funds for these awards come from the Club's fundraisers including the sale of annual Raffle Calendars, the annual Community Breakfast & Silent Auction, and the Kootenai River Bike Ride.

Over the last two months alone, Rotary has donated $1,500 to the following organizations:

v     Bonners Ferry High School Student Council for travel expenses to Boise

v     Polar Bear Plunge to support Special Olympics in Idaho

v     GROW for the purchase of a tiller for community gardeners

v     Bonners Ferry High School Baseball for outfield fence banner

v     Bonners Ferry Youth Lacrosse Team

Rotary financial assistance is considered for any community non-profit organization. Once funded, organizations will be asked to make a presentation at a future Rotary meeting to describe their organization and how the funds will be or are being used.

All proposals should support Rotary's mission and ideals and embrace access, fairness, inclusiveness and diversity.

Grant awards will be announced as the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club Board of Directors approves them.

Paper applications can be downloaded from the Bonners Ferry Rotary website (“Request for Rotary Assistance”), signed by a Rotary member sponsor, and mailed to the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club, P.O. Box 1921, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805. Electronic applications can also be emailed to:
