Norm McCarvell, District Governor-Elect from Nelson, BC, sent the following email to all Rotarians in District 5080 with information regarding the Spring District Assembly to be held at the Coeur d'Alene Resort on March 22, 2014:

On behalf of District Trainer Jeanne McPherson and me, I invite you to attend the District Spring Assembly and enjoy a great environment, friendship, fellowship and an amazing day of discussion, speakers and breakout sessions.

Attached (at the bottom of this email) is the Spring Assembly Brochure so that you can see for yourself.

The Assembly should be of particular interest to Club Officers, but it has also been designed to appeal to every Rotarian:

The day starts with a lively panel discussion “A New Perspective on Club Membership”, moderated by PR Chair Debbie Rauen, and will include Youth Exchange Chair Stacey Cassidy, her husband Mike, and members of the Portland New Generations Rotary Club.

At our luncheon, you will be treated to Past District Governor & Zone 25 Coordinator Dick Elixman’s inspirational address, “Serving as a Community Leader.”

District Foundation Chair Vlad Sasarman will present a Grant Management Seminar for Clubs who need the required Certification for District and RI Grants.

Except for the President-Elect Session in The Shore Room, you may choose any Breakout Session throughout the day.

And, there will be a drawing at the end of the day for one free District Conference Registration.
