SUCCESS - SMILES - SKUNKS (ooppps)...A Good Time Had By All.

The weather did not disappointment for the Kootenai River Ride on Saturday September 11th.  Volunteers began preparations for the ride Friday late afternoon and were back as early as 6:30 AM on Saturday morning.  By 7AM the Fair Grounds Hall were bustling with volunteers and riders alike.  The only time you might not have been able to find a smile was on a small section of the ride where a family of skunks did not faire too well in crossing the road.  YEHAH! GOOD MORNING RIDERS!  120 riders participated.  So enjoyable was the day, many riders who signed for the short ride chose to extend their jaunt to the Ball Creek turnaround.  Almost tripling the expected # at that point.  Good grub and music, by Daniel Botkins, back at the Fair Grounds as people finished their rides. Thank you, not only to all the volunteers, but also the riders who made this, once again a very successful day.  For a quick look at the ride click herehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48KhqlkT82s
