The Gardner Rotary club sustains and executes several community service projects throughout the year.

  • Club members maintain a Rotary Island at the junction of Rte's 101 and 68, in what was the colonial center of Gardner.  Funds are raised annually from businesses to fund this project.
  • A stretch of Rte. 140 is cleaned by members and their families twice each year under the adopt-a-highway program.
  • In conjunction with the Gardner Elks, additional service and fraternal organizations, and the kindness of individual citizens thanksgiving meals are distributed throughout Gardner on Thanksgiving Day.
  • A holiday lights tour is executed so that those who cannot otherwise enjoy the holiday scenery on their own may participate and share in the experience.
  • Rotarians offer support services including operating golf carts during the Relay for Life weekend, hosted by Mount Wachusett Community College.
