Speaker Bio:

Scott Sommer is a member of the Four Peaks Rotary Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona, where he has served since joining in 2016. His commitment to Rotary’s mission of service and leadership is reflected in his tenure as Club President, a role he held for nearly two and a half years. He now continues his service as President of the Four Peaks Rotary Foundation, providing strategic oversight and stewardship for the club’s philanthropic initiatives.

At the district level, Scott plays an active and influential role in advancing Rotary’s long‑term vision and operational excellence. He currently serves as an Assistant Governor, initially supporting the Flagstaff, Williams, and Grand Canyon Clubs. In July 2026, he will
transition to supporting three additional clubs in the Valley. Scott also serves on the District Strategic Planning Committee and the District Finance Committee, contributing to district‑wide governance, fiscal responsibility, and organizational development. In addition, he chairs the District Visioning for Clubs program, guiding clubs through structured planning processes that strengthen their identity, clarify priorities, and support sustainable growth.

Professionally, Scott is a private consultant specializing in the design and implementation of service‑delivery programs across multiple business sectors. He resides in Fountain Hills with his wife, Ashley, their daughter Paige, son Patrick, and their dog, Hank. The Sommer family enjoys spending their summers in Flagstaff, where they appreciate the cooler climate and the opportunity to spend time together in
Northern Arizona’s natural beauty.
