April is all about Crawfest! This month, our focus is solely on our annual fundraiser, which will help fund our community projects for the upcoming year. We've more than doubled the size of the event from last year, gaining incredible community support, and now we need all hands on deck to ensure we deliver an unforgettable experience!
Our regular club meeting on Tuesday, April 1st, will be a club assembly dedicated to finalizing logistics and volunteer needs. Instead of meeting at City Central, we’ll gather at MLZ Ranch (4610 N Pecan) at 6 PM to plan directly on-site. Afterward, anyone who wants to join us for dinner at El Patio is welcome!
Since Crawfest is such a huge undertaking, we will not have a separate service project this month—our efforts for the April 26th event will count as our service initiative. We need everyone’s help to feed and serve 250+ people, so please make every effort to participate in some way. If you can’t make it, please drop us a note and let us know. Let’s make this year’s Crawfest bigger and better than ever!
now taking T-shirt orders
We’re placing another round of t-shirt orders! With a few new members joining and several requests for kids’ sizes, now’s your chance to grab a club shirt. Plus, we want to make sure everyone has a Trailblazers tee to wear at Crawfest and future volunteer events.
Here’s the link to place your order—please submit your response by April 8th so we can get them in on time. A quick note: several members have mentioned that the shirts run small, so consider sizing up when ordering. Don’t miss out—get your shirt and show your Trailblazers pride!
welcome jeremy & theresa sacket
We are thrilled to welcome our newest members, Jeremy and Theresa Sacket, who joined us just last week! Both Jeremy and Theresa have been part of Ponca City Rotary in the past, and after moving away and now settling back in, they’re ready to get involved once again. We’re so lucky to have them back in the Rotary family and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make as Trailblazers. Be sure to give them a warm welcome at our next meeting!
Wings of Rotary
Wow—what an unforgettable experience! We are so proud that our club had the opportunity to be part of the Wings of Rotary short-term exchange between Japan and Oklahoma. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, especially those who hosted or provided housing—you helped make this exchange truly special. It’s amazing how quickly connections can form, and these students and adults definitely left a lasting impact on our club (and we think they liked us just as much!). We hope to be part of this incredible program again next year and will keep you updated on future opportunities to get involved.
