Thanks to your support, we’re excited to welcome the Wings of Rotary Team from Japan to Ponca City! We have secured housing and will be hosting 5 students and 2 adult team leaders for a few days as part of this incredible international exchange program.
Sunday, March 16th | 1 PM – 3 PM | The Hub
We’ll kick off their visit with a Meet & Greet, lunch, and bowling at our quarterly club social. This is a great opportunity to interact with our guests and show them a warm Ponca City welcome!
Monday, March 17th
We’ll be giving the team a tour of Ponca City, and anyone is welcome to join in and connect with our visitors. It’s sure to be a great time as we introduce them to our community!
Hosting & Hospitality
The students will stay in host homes, while the adult team leaders will be in an Airbnb, so we need to make sure the adult team leaders have dinner on Sunday and Monday. If you'd like to host them for a meal in your home or take them out to a restaurant, please let Angela Rickman know. We could also organize a group dinner if there’s interest!

Step Up for Kids in Need – We're gearing up for Mid-America President-Elect Training (PETS) in Fort Smith, Arkansas, March 20-22! Four of our club members will be attending this important leadership event, joining hundreds of other Rotary leaders from across four states to collaborate, learn, and strengthen our impact.
As part of the conference, we are participating in a shoe drive to support children in need around the world. We need your help! If you'd like to donate a pair of shoes, please bring them to our meeting on March 4th or contact George Davis to arrange a drop-off.
Shoe Donation Guidelines:(closed toe only)
✅ Shoes do not need to be expensive (check clearance aisle at Wal-Mart)
✅ Suggested youth ages 4 - 18 with greatest need boy shoes ages 14-18

March is a busy month, but service is at the heart of who we are as Rotarians, so we’re making sure to keep the momentum going! Due to Wings of Rotary and spring break, we’ve adjusted our usual schedule and moved our monthly service project back a week.

📍 New Emergency Resource Agency (NERA)
We’re rolling up our sleeves to assemble new shelves at NERA, helping them organize resources for those in need. Many hands make quick work, so let’s bring out the tools and get the job done together! Not a fan of assembling? No problem! You can also help by stocking shelves—every effort makes a difference.
