January 2026 Speaker: Kristin Keen - Rethreaded
Kristin Keen
Bio:
With a deep commitment to making a difference, Kristin Keen has dedicated herself to creating opportunities for survivors of human trafficking through innovative business initiatives. Kristin’s first initiative started in Kolkata, India where she co-founded, Sari Bari, a business that gave survivors of human trafficking a way out of exploitation through employment. Upon her return to the USA in 2012, she founded Rethreaded, an organization created to support survivors of trafficking through meaningful work while providing them with continued healing through counseling and programming. Keen has transformed her years of experience into successful talks, interactive workbooks, and a podcast that focuses on the process of rethreading the threads of our lives into our purpose. Kristin’s efforts have enabled over 200 survivors of human trafficking and their families to reclaim their lives. When she’s not at Rethreaded, sitting in on board meetings, or leading seminars, Kristin continues to find beauty and meaning in the world through swims in the ocean at sunrise, challenging herself on the pickleball court, and picking out vintage treasures at local thrift stores.

E-Club member, Club Youth Leadership Chair and D6950 Alumni Chair, Susanne Nielsen got a chance to visit the Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida (one of my favorite places!).
She also is working with S4TL Alumni as they seek to become RYE Outbound students.
And the Orchids!
S4TL Alumni and now RYE Outbound Candidates, Kalila and Alex
Here is a view of the December 21st youth exchange country reveal party.

Our Club sponsored S4TL candidate Alexa Griffin, who is one of the chosen candidates for RYE, to spend her year on exchange in Brazil, starting training in early January.
She is now seeking outbound sponsorship from our club.
And the Celebration continues.
Note:
All students must have a sponsor club by the beginning of their training in January as they go to Atlanta for one of two weekends.
Happy Holidays!
I would like to wish everyone in the E-Club the Best for this Season of Celebration and a Blessed and Beautiful New Year - 2026.
